If you love WordPress, and I mean really love WordPress – there are plenty of ways to be part of this lovely community.

Volunteer and contribute to WordPress

Coding, Reviewing, Testing – If you are a designer or a developer with experience in HTML, CSS, PHP, or Java, you can actively get involved with coding and reviewing code for the core WordPress framework. Think you are good at testing, there’s always a dearth of good testers for new releases. You can even review themes and plugins that get submitted to the WordPress org directory.

Documentation and Translation – If design or development is not your forte, but language is – then help with translating WordPress into your local language or creating tutorials for users.

Participate in WordCamps

Oh, WordCamps are so much fun! Whether you get involved as an organizer, volunteer, a speaker or simply attend one, it’s a wonderful way to get involved with the local community and make friends for life (yes, I can vouch for that). Be warned though, WordCamps can be addictive!

Make a living

If you are looking to take up a part-time or full-time job with WordPress, there are plenty of opportunities.

Here’s a list of some of the current openings that you can consider (this list is based on information gathered from the websites)

Content Writers

WordPress Agencies

Most WordPress jobs offer remote working and flexible hours (unless stated otherwise).

This post has information accurate as on 22nd May, 2022. I will keep adding to this list and updating it every week, so make sure you bookmark it.

P.S. If you know of any WordPress agencies or product companies that are hiring, please leave a comment so I can add to this list.
