The WordPress Community of Kerala has announced a ‘WordCamp’ with an interesting twist – an online event ‘Kerala WordPress Photo Festival’.

Why? A word from the organizers
Here’s what Bigul had to say –
“The WordPress Photo Directory provides an easy and unique way for newcomers to contribute to WordPress.
Fortunately, our community includes some great photographers. Last year, we organized a photo walk meetup and an online photo contribution event, which was an awesome experience.”
We contributed more than 200 photos to WordPress Photos and attracted a few new contributors. Encouraged by this success, we decided to take it further and introduce the exciting WordPress Photo Festival.

How to participate
To participate in this WordCamp, you can submit your photos to the WordPress Photo Directory (use #WPKeralaPhotos) from February 3, 2024 to February 10, 2024.
The best part is that you don’t have to be in Kerala, since it is online.
Simply register online and submit your photos.
Before you get started though, familiarize yourself with these simple guidelines.
There are prizes to be won too-
- $100 each for the top 5 photos
- $100 each for the top three participants (most number of photos)
I can think of a few things I could do with $100!
